Tronics Australia is a leading supplier of coding, marking, labelling and materials handling solutions, partnering with some of the world's most recognised equipment manufacturers.

We're looking for a highly capable Senior Technical Support professional to become a key technical expert within our national service operation.

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced technician, applications specialist, commissioning engineer or technical support professional looking to step beyond purely field-based work and into a broader national role.

About the Role

Reporting to the National Technical Manager, you will be responsible for driving complex technical issues through to resolution while acting as the technical owner of installation and commissioning projects across Australia.

You will provide technical leadership and support to customers, service technicians, Customer Service and Sales, ensuring successful customer outcomes from initial implementation through to long-term operational support.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing critical customer technical escalations and breakdowns.

• Providing advanced troubleshooting support to customers and technicians.

• Leading the technical delivery of installation and commissioning projects.

• Supporting Sales with solution design and technical advice.

• Acting as the internal expert on inks, fluids and application requirements.

• Working closely with global suppliers and manufacturers.

• Driving continuous improvement and technical innovation initiatives.

What We're Looking For

You will ideally have:

• Strong technical troubleshooting capability.

• Experience with industrial, packaging, automation or capital equipment.

• Experience managing or coordinating equipment installations and commissioning activities.

• Excellent communication and customer relationship skills.

• Strong organisational and project management capability.

• A genuine passion for solving problems and helping customers succeed.

Experience within coding & marking, industrial printing, labelling, packaging machinery, automation, manufacturing or related industries will be highly regarded.
