Senior Associate Data Strategy

Job Description

As a Senior Associate in AI & Data Strategy, you will be a core contributor to Data & AI strategy engagements, playing a hands-on role in defining AI use cases, data strategies, and transformation roadmaps for clients. You will work closely with Managers and Directors to translate business problems into data and AI driven solutions, rapidly prototyping outcomes through proof of value initiatives using Publicis Sapient AI tools and accelerators.

Key Responsibilities

Support the delivery of AI and data strategy engagements, including discovery, opportunity assessment, and roadmap definitionBe hands-on with AI tools, platforms, and accelerators to build early proofs of valueHelp frame business problems into structured hypotheses and AI-led solution optionsDesign and validate AI use cases, assessing feasibility, business value, risk, and responsible AI considerationsOwn discrete workstreams or deliverables within engagements, with guidance from Managers and DirectorsContribute to strategy artefacts including value cases, future-state visions, operating models, and transformation roadmapsCollaborate with engineering, product, and experience teams to translate strategy into executable outcomesSupport client workshops, stakeholder interviews, and executive-ready storytellingConduct analysis across data maturity, platforms, analytics, and AI capabilities, contributing to target-state architecture thinkingSupport AI opportunity identification, prioritisation, and decision-making through clear trade-off articulationContribute to proposals, POVs, thought leadership, and internal capability building through assets, demos, and reusable accelerators

Skills & Experience

4–6 years’ experience in data, AI, analytics, product, or strategy consulting rolesPractical exposure to AI, analytics, and data platforms (cloud, ML, GenAI tools)Ability to structure problems, analyse data, and synthesise insights into clear recommendationsProven experience with service management and operating model designFamiliarity with data concepts (pipelines, governance, remediation) but not expected to code heavy ETLComfortable working in ambiguous problem spaces with a desire to build and test solutionsAbility to create client-facing documentation, solution walkthroughs, and presentationsComfortable engaging with product owners, business users, and engineersStrong communication and storytelling skills

Set Yourself Apart With

Certifications in Data Management, Data Governance, or Cloud Platforms (CDMP, CDP, AWS Certified Data Analytics, etc.).Experience with AI/ML use cases and data-driven decision-making.Knowledge of real-time data processing and event-driven architectures.Background in financial services, retail, or healthcare industries.
