Design Drafter

As an experienced Design Drafter, you will assist the team with preparing technical drawings and 3D models for water infrastructure projects across Exact.

The successful candidate will be based at our Support Services Office in Wayville but may be required to travel to remote sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Preparing 2D drawings, 3D/BIM models using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Plant 3D
• Maintaining registers, model coordination and files in line with QA procedures
• Developing and coordinating water infrastructure and earthworks plans
• Liaising with internal and external parties to coordinate set-out information, design inputs, interfaces and construction requirements
• Updating drawings and models using mark-ups, redlines, design reviews and as-constructed data

Candidate Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in engineering drafting, civil design or an appropriate combination of education and experience
• Understanding of hydraulic components such as pumps, pipework, and fittings
• Experience using computer-aided-design software in relevant industries
• Confident working knowledge of AutoCAD 3D
• Experience with Civil 3D, Plant 3D, Revit, Navisworks or other similar programs (highly regarded)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to problem solve
• Ability to communicate and build relationships internally and externally
