This is more than a traditional administration role. You'll be a trusted part of a specialist trade marks team, supporting the protection of valuable brands across Australia, New Zealand and internationally.
You'll work closely with attorneys, clients and overseas associates, playing a key role in keeping matters moving, managing critical deadlines and delivering an exceptional client experience.

• Monitoring deadlines and critical dates across trade mark portfolios
• Working closely with attorneys to ensure matters progress efficiently
• Preparing correspondence, reports and invoices
• Liaising with clients, overseas associates and trade mark offices across multiple jurisdictions
• Assisting with precedents, templates and process improvements
• Supporting the smooth delivery of high-quality client service
About You
You're an experienced Trade Marks Assistant with several years' recent trade marks experience, ideally gained within a specialist IP practice or law firm.
You'll also bring:
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience using IP management software, ideally Inprotech
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach and a willingness to help wherever needed
Most importantly, you'll enjoy working with people and be someone who brings energy, professionalism and a positive attitude to the team.
