MACA is seeking a Trade Assistant to join our new McPhee Creek Iron Ore Project Maintenance Team.

The Gruyere Gold Mine is an open pit operation located within the Yamarna greenstone belt approximately 200 kilometres east of Laverton in Western Australia - less than a 2 hour flight from Perth!

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• HC/HR drivers' licence
• Rigging, Dogging, Crane Ticket C6 (or higher), Elevated work platform, Working at Heights and Forklift ticket required
• Experience working as a Trade Assistant and Franna Crane Operator
• Ability to operate equipment for maintenance and inspection purposes.
• Ability to monitor plant and equipment condition, identify and report oil and fuel leaks whilst ensuring oil, grease and fuel are stocked.
• Experience in an open pit mining environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Highly motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Must present with a "Can Do" attitude to work and safety.
• Good knowledge and ability to follow Work Health & Safety procedures and policies.
