We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Clinical Nurse to join our MH Youth Hospital in the Home (YHITH) team. In this rewarding role, you will deliver high-quality, recovery-focused mental health care to young people within their home and community environments, providing an alternative to inpatient admission while promoting positive health outcomes.
The successful applicant shall be part of a multidisciplinary team provides clinical and professional expertise to ensure comprehensive evidence-based nursing care is delivered to patients. Facilitates and promotes patient safety and quality of care. The Clinical Nurse practices within their scope of practice considerate of the Nursing and Midwifery Board’s Nursing Practice Decision Flowchart.

Across Fiona Stanley Fremantle Hospital Mental Health (FSFH Mental Health) and Peel and Rockingham Kwinana Mental Health (PaRK Mental Health), specialist services are provided across the South Metropolitan region, supporting consumers with accessible, collaborative and high-quality mental health care. SMHS Mental Health will soon open a new state-of-the-art facility at Fremantle Hospital designed to offer expanded and modern mental health services for our community. The three-storey space will provide an additional 40 mental health beds and a 24-hour Mental Health Crisis Centre, ensuring compassionate and innovative care for those who need it most.
