Sydney Polytechnic Institute is seeking a motivated and energetic Student Engagement & Student Services Lead to support and enhance the student experience on campus.

This role focuses on student engagement, international student support, campus activities, and the management of the Student Ambassador program. We are looking for someone who enjoys engaging with students, creating activities, and bringing new ideas to life. About the Role

This role combines student services, student engagement, and campus life coordination. You will work closely with students, academic staff, and the marketing team to create an engaging and supportive student experience.

Key Responsibilities

Student Engagement & Campus Activities

• Plan and organise student events, workshops, and engagement activities

• Support orientation programs and student community initiatives

• Increase student participation and improve the campus experience

Student Services & Support

• Provide support to international and domestic students

• Respond to student enquiries and assist with student-related matters

• Help students connect with campus resources and opportunities

Student Ambassador Program

• Recruit, train, and manage Student Ambassadors

• Coordinate ambassadors for events, campus tours, and student engagement activities with recruitment team

• Encourage student leadership and peer engagement 

Alumni Engagement

·       Manage and coordinate student alumni engagement activities

·       Maintain connections with graduates and encourage alumni participation in events

·       Support alumni stories, networking events, and community building

Content & Student Promotion

·       Support video recording, student interviews, and social media content

·       Work with the marketing team to showcase student success stories and industry projects

·       Encourage students and alumni to participate in promotional activities

Key Skills & Experience

• Experience in student services, student engagement, or student support

• Experience working with international students

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Experience organising student events or campus activities

• Comfortable supporting video recording or social media content

• Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities

• Proactive and able to take initiative

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in higher education or international education environments

• Experience managing student ambassadors or student leaders

• Experience supporting student engagement campaigns, events, or promotional activities

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

• Experience using HubSpot CRM and Canva for communication, marketing, or student engagement activities is preferred
