SEEG is a ISO9001 Electrical EPC specialising in the design, construction, commissioning of high voltage and low voltage systems.

We operate across a wide range of industries from rail and traction power systems to water treatment and mining.

About the role:

We are currently seeking an Electrical Engineer (Intermediate/Senior) to join our growing team.

Activities would include:

• Provide FEED and Detail Design: LV Distribution and HV Networks.

• System modelling: Fault Studies, Load Flow Studies, Arc Flash Analysis & Protection Studies.

• Lightning Protection and Earthing Design.

• Hazardous Area Design, Equipment Selection & Area Classification.

• Hazardous Area Inspections & Verification.

• Electrical Safety Compliance Auditing.

• Rail Traction Power System Inspections & Auditing.

• Estimating and Tendering.

Home office (WFH) based predominantly, plus travel to client sites as/when required.

What we're looking for:

Essential

• Minimum 2 years onsite project engineering (Electrical) experience.

• Minimum 2 years design engineering (Electrical) experience.

• Valid Australian Driver’s License

Desirable

• South East Queensland based highly desirable

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering (Engineers Australia Accredited / Washington accord).

• Additional Electrical Trade qualification.

• Electrical inspection experience.

• Strong understanding of AS/NZS 3000, AS/NZS 3008, AS 2067

• Experience delivering HV/LV distribution systems, protection, control equipment, and instrumentation design.

• Strong understanding of AS/NZS 60079 classification, equipment selection and design.

• Experience using modelling software for earthing and power system studies (PTW experience highly desirable).

• Experience completing: LV reticulation design, HV reticulation design, Earth grid design, EEHA selection and design.

• Experience conducting: Fault and Protection studies, Arc Flash studies, Pipeline Risk Assessments, HA Classifications.

• Design Tendering and Budgeting experience.
