About the role
Join a fast-growing innovator transforming professional development in Australia's disability and aged care sectors.
About us
The NGO Training Centre is Australia's leading online training provider for the disability and aged care workforce, based in Queensland. We deliver accessible, high-quality, story-driven courses that equip support workers through to executives with best-practice skills—helping organisations deliver better outcomes for people with disabilities and ageing individuals.
With 230% year-on-year growth, we're expanding rapidly and seeking a driven Sales Executive to fuel our next phase. If you have strong B2B sales experience and a genuine passion for the human services sector, this is your opportunity to drive meaningful change while building a rewarding career in a supportive, high-growth environment.
Why Join Us?
We're not just selling training—we're empowering nonprofits and care providers with affordable, innovative learning that puts lived experience and storytelling at the centre. Our courses stand out because they blend expert knowledge with real voices from the community, making learning engaging, memorable, and truly impactful.
What You'll Gain
Competitive remuneration: Base salary + uncapped quarterly commission (proven achievable range: $3,000–$7,000 per quarter, with room to exceed).
Clear career progression: Direct reporting to the General Manager of Acquisitions, with structured skill development and a defined path for high performers.
Purposeful work: Contribute to a value-driven organisation where every team member has real impact—improving training quality and access in sectors that matter.
Supportive culture: Close-knit, respectful team that invests in growth, collaboration, and work-life balance.
Start-up energy with stability: Fast growth means your contributions are visible and rewarded—grow with us!
True flexibility: Fully remote, work anywhere in Australia.
What You'll Do
As a key player in our growth strategy, you'll focus on new business acquisition and delivering exceptional customer experiences. Your responsibilities include:
Building deep expertise in our products, value proposition, and industry impact.
Generating and qualifying leads through proactive cold and warm outreach.
Conducting engaging virtual and in-person discovery meetings with prospective customers (NDIS providers and aged care organisations).
Managing your pipeline and relationships in our CRM system.
Closing sales to expand our customer base.
Providing outstanding post-sale service and support.
Delivering accurate forecasting, pipeline reporting, and process adherence.
Contributing fresh ideas to our innovation register.
What We're Looking For (Essential Requirements)
Minimum 5 years' proven B2B sales experience (ideally in professional services, training, SaaS, or related fields).
Strong emotional intelligence and ability to build rapport quickly.
Genuine passion for the disability and/or aged care sectors.
Self-motivated, solutions-oriented, and confident in autonomous work.
Excellent communication, presentation, and professional skills.
Strong business acumen and general computer proficiency.
Coachable mindset and adaptability.
Eligible to work in Australia with permanent residency or full work rights.
Highly Regarded (but not essential)
Direct experience in the disability or aged care sector.
Existing networks in these sectors.
Background in learning & development (L&D) or training sales.
If you're a results-driven sales professional who wants high earnings potential, flexibility, rapid career growth, and the satisfaction of supporting vulnerable communities through better training, we'd love to hear from you.
