Market St Café in the Adelaide CBD has a fantastic opportunity for a Barista to join our team.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Barista to join our busy café. If you're passionate about coffee, enjoy providing exceptional customer service, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you.

As a Barista, you'll play an important role in creating a welcoming experience for our customers by consistently delivering high-quality coffee and friendly service.

• Preparing consistently excellent coffees.

• Providing warm, friendly and efficient customer service.

• Taking customer orders and processing transactions.

• Assisting with food preparation and serving cabinet items.

• Maintaining a clean and organised work environment.

• Opening and closing duties as required.

• Working collaboratively with the café team during busy service periods.

The successful applicant will have:

• Previous barista experience in a busy café environment.

• The ability to produce high-quality coffee with consistency.

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

• A positive attitude and strong work ethic.

• The ability to work efficiently under pressure.

• Reliability, punctuality and flexibility with availability.

• A current Food Safety certificate (or willingness to obtain one).

• A supportive and friendly team environment.

• Ongoing training and development.

• Award wages plus applicable penalties.
