Architectural Technician

We are a well-established business focused on retail and commercial projects, with more than 35 years in the market and 9 office locations across Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, India and Brazil. We are looking for a technically talented Architectural technician to join our team in Perth, WA. This is a permanent, full-time role for someone with a strong understanding of architectural documentation in Revit and the ability to liaise with multiple internal and external clients across Australia and New Zealand.

As an Architectural Technician, you will:

• Preparing architectural documentation, including plans, specifications, and detailed drawings using REVIT and AutoCAD.

• Conducting site surveys and measurements to ensure accuracy and precision.

• Collaborating with clients, consultants, and internal teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.

• Ensuring all documentation complies with the Building Code of Australia (BCA), Australian Standards, and relevant planning processes.

• Contributing to retail store planning and shop fit-out designs.

What We’re Looking For:

The ideal candidate has:

• 3+ years of experience as an architectural technician, preferably in retail or commercial sectors.

• Have proven knowledge of construction in the commercial sector.

• Have a proven ability to produce high-quality construction documentation using Revit (AutoCAD experience also highly regarded).

• Advanced proficiency in REVIT and AutoCAD.

• Strong knowledge of the Building Code of Australia (BCA) and Australian Standards.

• Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, consultants, and team members.

• A proactive and self-motivated attitude with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment.

• Are able to work both autonomously and as a member of a small/medium/big team and meet deadlines, keeping a strong attention to detail.

• Are able to organise and prioritise work with excellent time management.

• Drive to learn and open to new ways of working while striving for quality and excellence in all aspects of work.

• Possess any recognised tertiary qualification in architecture, building design, or related field.

• Have good knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel and a current driver's licence.
