El Camino Cantina Surfers Paradise is looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join the team at one of the Gold Coast’s most vibrant hospitality venues.

The Role

As a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Restaurant Manager, you’ll be hands-on in leading the team and delivering the El Camino experience every day.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Leading and motivating the Front of House team
• Creating an energetic, welcoming and memorable guest experience
• Running smooth, efficient services in a busy, high-volume environment
• Coaching, developing and supporting team members
• Maintaining high standards across service, presentation and venue operations
• Supporting rostering, labour management and day-to-day operational performance
• Working closely with the kitchen and management team
• Creating a positive, high-performing team culture

We’re looking for hospitality leaders who enjoy being on the floor, connecting with guests and getting the best out of their team.

You’ll bring:

• Previous management or supervisory experience in a restaurant, bar or high-volume hospitality environment
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to lead from the floor
• A genuine passion for hospitality and creating great guest experiences
• Confidence working in a fast-paced, high-energy venue
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• A focus on consistency, standards and continuous improvement
• The ability to coach, develop and motivate a diverse team
• A current RSA
