About the role
Insight Early Learning Dunsborough is looking for a reliable and friendly Bus Driver to safely drive our centre bus and support our team with transporting children as required.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and has a current C Class Driver’s Licence. An Early Childhood qualification is a bonus, but not essential. We are also open to Educators who are comfortable driving our centre bus.
The role is up to 20 hours per week, with split shifts:
Morning: 8:00am – 9:00am
Afternoon: 2:00pm – 3:30pm

You will be a reliable, responsible, and friendly team member who is confident driving children safely and understands the importance of providing a safe and positive experience for children.
A regular day in this role will include:
Safely driving the centre bus and transporting children as required
Ensuring children are safely supervised when getting on and off the bus
Following all road safety and centre procedures
Completing required vehicle safety checks
Supporting children's wellbeing and safety during transport
Communicating professionally with the centre team
Being reliable and punctual for scheduled morning and afternoon shifts
Reporting any concerns, incidents, or vehicle issues to the Centre Director
Current C Class Driver’s Licence
Current and valid Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)
Current First Aid and CPR certificates, including Child Protection Training (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)
Experience driving a bus or working in a similar role (must-have)
Early Childhood Education and Care qualification or working towards Certificate III (nice-to-have, but not essential)
Safe, responsible, and confident driving skills
Warm, friendly, and caring personality
Comfortable working around and supporting children
