Site Supervisor – Residential Construction

About the role

Thomasz Design & Construction is seeking an experienced and highly capable Site Supervisor to join our growing team. This is a key role overseeing residential projects from commencement through to completion. We are looking for someone with a strong background in high-end residential projects, who takes pride in delivering quality workmanship, maintaining programme and budget requirements, and providing a high level of service to clients and consultants.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise residential construction projects from start to completion

• Oversee high-end residential construction

• Coordinate and manage trades, subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel

• Ensure construction works are completed to drawings, specifications, quality standards and building regulations

• Manage site programmes, sequencing and daily site activities

• Monitor project progress and proactively address delays or issues

• Conduct regular site inspections and quality-control checks

• Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, clients and subcontractors

• Review drawings, specifications and construction details

• Identify and resolve construction issues efficiently and professionally

About you

• Strong experience in high-end residential construction

• A thorough understanding of construction processes, sequencing and building practices

• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings

• Strong knowledge of Australian building standards and construction requirements

• Excellent trade and subcontractor management skills

• Strong organisational and time-management skills

• High attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Excellent communication and client-management skills
