Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and highly skilled Head Chef and Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team with passion and precision. Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and support personnel, fostering a collaborative and motivated team atmosphere
• Oversee menu planning, ensuring innovative dishes that meet quality standards and customer expectations while controlling food costs
• Manage food production processes, including food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation to uphold fine dining standards
• Implement and monitor food safety sanitizing procedures in compliance with health regulations to ensure a safe environment for staff and guests
• Coordinate catering events and banquet services from planning through execution, ensuring seamless service delivery
• Control inventory levels through accurate inventory management and inventory control practices to minimize waste and optimize resources
• Oversee shift management, scheduling staff efficiently to meet operational demands during busy periods
• Maintain high standards of hospitality and service by supervising food handling practices and ensuring excellent customer experiences
• Monitor budget adherence related to food costs and labor expenses while implementing cost control strategies
• Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and sanitation standards across the kitchen operations

Skills

• Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in fine dining, catering, and banquet services
• Proven supervising experience managing diverse kitchen teams effectively
• Deep knowledge of food safety sanitizing procedures, dietary department requirements, and food handling protocols
• Expertise in menu planning, food production, cooking techniques, and presentation skills
• Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team management, shift coordination, and staff development
• Experience in inventory management, inventory control, and cost management within the food industry
• Familiarity with restaurant management systems and food service operations to ensure smooth workflow
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with front-of-house teams and vendors effectively
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations while maintaining attention to detail in food preparation and service quality
• Knowledge of hospitality standards combined with bartending skills is a plus for enhancing guest experiences
