About The Role

Balmain Hospital is a community-based healthcare facility that has been caring for local people since 1885. It is dedicated to Aged Care, Rehabilitation and General Practice. Balmain Hospital is committed to providing the highest standards of healthcare to meet individual needs.

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the provision of patient centred; evidence informed nursing care that promotes identified health outcomes.

The Registered Nurse will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Ideal Candidate

Current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).Demonstrated understanding of evidence informed practice and critical thinking.Demonstrated commitment to person centred care and NSW Health Core Values.
