Combo Operator – Excavator / Posi / HC Truck | Brisbane Civil Projects

AGS Civil is growing and adding a true Combo Operator to the crew.
If you can confidently jump between excavator, posi and truck, work off plans without babysitting, and actually care how a job finishes up, keep reading.

What You’ll Do:

You’ll be a key operator across Brisbane-based civil projects: subdivisions, roadworks, remediation and large-scale earthworks. Day to day, you’ll:

• Operate excavator and posi on bulk and detailed earthworks, trimming, pipework and pads

• Jump in the truck (HC) for cart, float and general civil haulage when needed

• Work independently off plans and set-out, using lasers and levels

• Track your work on iPad / site systems so jobs run on time and to spec

• Look after your machine, do clean pre-starts, and keep sites safe and tidy

What You’ll Get:

• Full-time, long-term role with a solid pipeline of Brisbane civil work

• 10-hour days, Monday to Friday (roughly 6:30am–4:30/5:30pm)

• Rare Saturdays or nights only when required – not the norm

• Well-maintained fleet and gear that’s actually looked after

• A crew that runs like a tier one: third party ISO certified systems, clear processes, no chaos

• Strong leadership from people who know civil earthworks, not just spreadsheets

What You’ll Bring:

Must-haves:

• Tickets / RIIs for excavator and posi

• Current HC licence (truck & dog capable)

• Minimum 2–3 years’ civil experience (subdivisions / roadworks / bulk & detail)

• Proven ability to work independently: read plans, set up lasers, stay ahead of the job

• Comfortable using iPad / tablets to track jobs and paperwork

• Construction White Card

• Able to pass pre-employment medical and alcohol & other drug testing

• Take pride in your machines and your work – not rough on gear

Nice to have:

• GPS experience

• Experience around services and tighter, detailed work
