We are looking for a Trainee or Certificate III Educator to join our team

Full‑time position | Long Day Care | Child Safe Organisation

Midson Road Child Care Centre is seeking a passionate educator to join our warm, motivated and professional team.

This is a full‑time role (Monday to Friday) for an educator who is an entry level (trainee) or Certificate III educator

About the Role

• Support the development of and implimentation of high quality programs and planned activities for children aged 0-6 years

• Support the service through daily routines including end of day procedures (6pm).

• Build strong relationships with children, families and colleagues

• Contribute to a positive, collaborative and child‑safe culture

For entry level applicants (not yet qualified) -

This is an opportunity for you to study towards your Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care. You don’t need experience, just curiosity, kindness and a willingness to learn.

We will teach you the rest and support you to enrol with our preferred Registered Training Organisation (RTO) and begin your studies towards your Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.

Certificate III applicants -

You are an educator who genuinely wants to make a difference. You bring:

• Communication skills and confidence engaging with families

• Experience planning, documenting and evaluating educational programs

• An understanding of EYLF 2.0, NQS and best‑practice pedagogy

• Commitment to inclusion, diversity and embedding Indigenous perspectives

• A positive, reliable, creative and professional approach

Our Child Safe Commitment

• Current, verified Working With Children Check (WWCC)

• National Police Check

• Two professional referees (child‑safety focused)

• Signed Child Safe Declaration

• Screening against relevant regulatory registers

Pending or in‑progress WWCC applications cannot be accepted.

• Applicants must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident (not on a temorary visa)

• All screening checks must be completed before employment begins
