Junior Handy Person

Looking to kick-start your career in maintenance?

We're looking for a motivated and reliable Junior Maintenance & Handy Person to join our team on a part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a school leaver, or someone with only a few years' experience who enjoys practical work and wants to develop their skills in a supportive environment.

Working alongside an experienced tradesman, you will assist with the general maintenance and upkeep of our hire equipment and facility ensuring everything is safe, clean and operating efficiently.

• General repairs and maintenance

• Basic painting and touch-ups

• Assembling furniture and equipment

• Assisting with minor carpentry tasks

• Maintaining tools and equipment

• Keeping work areas clean, safe and organised

• Supporting larger maintenance projects as required

We're looking for someone who:

• Has a positive attitude and is eager to learn

• Enjoys hands-on work and problem solving

• Is reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work

• Can work independently and as part of a team

• Has good communication skills

• Holds a current driver's licence (preferred but not essential)

• Has experience using basic hand and power tools (preferred but training can be provided)

• Flexible part-time hours

• On-the-job training and mentoring

• A supportive team environment

• Opportunities to develop practical trade and maintenance skills

• A varied role where no two days are the same
