Job Description

We’re seeking a dedicated and detail‑oriented Housekeepers to join our dynamic Housekeeping team as we open our revitalised Hotel. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring our guest rooms and public spaces are beautifully presented, clean, and welcoming. Your work directly shapes the guest experience, helping us deliver the high standards of comfort and care that The Oceanfront Cairns will be known for.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms to brand standards, ensuring a high level of presentation

• Maintain cleanliness of public areas, corridors, and service spaces

• Replenish amenities, linen, and supplies as required

• Report maintenance issues, room discrepancies, or safety concerns

• Follow cleaning procedures and hygiene standards, including safe use of chemicals

• Work efficiently to meet daily room quotas and service expectations

• Uphold a friendly, professional, and guest‑focused approach at all times

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience in hospitality is highly regarded

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high presentation standards

• Ability to work independently and as part of a fast‑paced team

• Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining a positive workplace culture

• Physically fit and able to perform repetitive tasks and manual handling

• Friendly, guest‑focused attitude with strong communication skills

• Availability to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
