About the Role

We’re a commercial construction company based in Redland Bay looking for a proactive PA & Accounts Officer to join our team.

In this role, you’ll work directly alongside our Managing Director and project teams to handle our day-to-day accounts, help out with procurement, and keep administrative operations running smoothly. It’s a hands-on position with plenty of variety, perfect for a strong all-rounder who knows their way around Xero and enjoys taking ownership of their work.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Accounts & Finance:

  • Handle day-to-day accounts payable and receivable.

  • Run daily and monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.

  • Manage payroll and superannuation obligations in Xero.

  • Prepare weekly financial summaries and project reports.

• Project & Procurement Support:

  • Work with suppliers and subcontractors on product sourcing and trade procurement.

  • Assist with tender documentation, contract administration, and project filing.

• Executive Support:

  • Provide direct administrative support to the Managing Director, including email management, dictation, and scheduling.

  • Keep project files and records organised and up to date.

What We’re Looking For

• Solid experience in an accounts and office support role.

• Strong confidence using Xero.

• A good handle on Australian payroll and general accounting basics.

• Excellent attention to detail and clear communication skills.

• Prior experience in the construction industry is a bonus but not required.
