About the role

This is a part-time position (approximately 28.5 hours per week), with the potential to increase to a full-time role as the clinic continues to grow.

As an integral member of our nursing team, you'll work closely with our veterinarians and fellow nurses to deliver high-quality patient care and outstanding client service.

Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting veterinarians during consultations, procedures, and surgeriesMonitoring anaesthetics and supporting surgical patientsPerforming diagnostic testing, blood collection, and IV catheter placementAdministering medications and treatmentsProviding nursing care to hospitalised patientsSupporting and educating pet owners on health and preventative careMaintaining accurate clinical recordsHelping to mentor and support less experienced team membersMaintaining a clean, organised, and efficient clinic environmentAbout you

We're looking for someone who:

Holds a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent qualification)Has previous experience working in a clinical veterinary nursing role (2+ years ideaIs confident with both medical and surgical nursing dutiesHas excellent communication and organisational skillsEnjoys working collaboratively within a team environmentTakes pride in delivering exceptional patient and client careIs proactive, reliable, and eager to continue learning and developing their skillsWhy join Greencross South Morang?
