Quality Assurance Coordinator - Food Safety

We are seeking an experienced Quality Coordinator to join our production site in Wacol. Reporting to the Commercial Quality Lead, you will play a key role in maintaining food safety, quality, and compliance standards across our operations, while supporting audits, certification programs, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Working closely with site leaders and operational teams, you will provide practical quality guidance and help ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and accreditation requirements. HACCP experience is essential, along with a solid understanding of food safety and quality management systems. Experience in food packaging, audits, allergen management, and certification programs is highly desirable, with organic certification experience viewed favourably.

Our Wacol facility provides meaningful employment opportunities for people with disability and delivers services across food packaging, fresh produce packaging, and general packaging operations. Key Requirements:

• Quality Assurance / Quality Systems experience
• Food Safety and HACCP experience
• Experience maintaining quality management systems
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to support audits, compliance activities and continuous improvement initiatives

Role Details & Benefits:

• Full-time permanent position
• Monday to Friday 7:30am to 3:30pm
• Based in Wacol (Onsite)
• Parking available and use of fleet vehicles for travel to other sites if required

About You:

• 2+ years of industry experience in quality systems or compliance

• Experience in Quality Assurance roles with delivering effective quality outcomes, ideally within production and/or manufacturing based
• Managing, tracking and maintaining the Quality Management System

• Understanding of food safety & quality standards and regulations, ideally including HACCP, SQF, WQA, Kosher, Halal, Australian Certified Organic and Standard Code.
• Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and HACCP principles
