Momentum Health Technologies is looking for a Prosthetic and Orthotic technician to join our manufacturing facility. Our technicians work collaboratively to manufacture a wide range of devices which help people around Australia and overseas.

We are looking for someone who is a good natured, active team member who above all enjoys working with their hands. Our team culture is strong and supportive and we are looking for people who want to add to that. We can teach you how to manufacture devices, but you need to bring the drive and passion!
 

In this role your responsibilities will include:

-             Providing technical workshop services, including the manufacture, repair, modification and maintenance of custom Orthotic and Prosthetic devices.

-            Learning and mastering a wide range of manufacturing processes, techniques and materials including plastic thermo-forming, carbon-fibre laminates, silicones, metals and textiles.

-            Maintain high-quality standards.

-            Use of simple Computer Aided Manufacturing techniques.

-            Working collaboratively with other technical and clinical staff.

-            Assistance in the maintenance of workshop stock levels.

To Excel in this role you must have:

-            Excellent technical ability.

-            Self-drive and a hard-working ethic. 

-            Experience utilising a variety of hand and power tools.

-            Excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills.

-            Previous experience in P&O or an area of manufacturing or fabrication.
