Specialty Foams is a leading manufacturer dedicated to delivering high-quality foam products. We pride ourselves on a safe, efficient, and friendly working environment. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a reliable and motivated Casual Factory Hand to join our production team.

About the Role

This is a hands-on, fast-paced casual role focused on processing, rolling, and bundling our backing rod products, as well as managing manufacturing waste. We are looking for someone adaptable who enjoys variety and can seamlessly move between different production tasks throughout the day. No prior experience is necessary as full training is provided.

Roster & Hours

• Minimum 2 days per week (must be worked back-to-back).

• Optional 3rd day available depending on production needs and your availability.

• Flexible on days—we can work with you to decide which days of the week suit best.

Key Responsibilities

• Roll and glue backing rod products accurately to specification.

• Feed and roll backing rods into the machine to compress into finished bundles.

• Operate the foam baler to safely compress and create bales of scrap foam.

• Pack completed bundles and products into boxes, bags, or storage areas.

• Rotate tasks quickly across the factory floor based on daily production needs.

• Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe warehouse workspace.

Skills and Experience

• Language: Must be able to speak and understand English fluently to follow safety instructions and team directions.

• Experience: No experience required—fully paid, on-the-job training is provided.

• Fitness: Must be physically fit and highly capable of standing for long periods.

• Flexibility: Highly adaptable with the ability to move smoothly from task to task.

• Attributes: Reliable, punctual, hard-working, and possesses a strong work ethic.

• Safety: A strong commitment to workplace health and safety (WHS) practices around machinery.
