Printers Trade Assistant

The right person will have the following skills:

• Experience in the label or print industry preferred but not essential
• Attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Be pro-active and work well in a team environment with minimal supervision
• Ability to read and follow work ticket instructions

Reporting to the Shift Supervisor your responsibilities will include:

(onsite training will be provided and supported by supervisors)

• Wash ups of plates, dies and ink trays
• Plate and die mounting
• Assist printers with efficient job changeovers
• Identifying and checking of plates and dies in accordance to job requirements
• Demonstrated knowledge of Press requirements particularly relating to danger areas on the press or machinery.

Annual Salary & Performance reivew Q1 of each year

Production Bonus after successful probation period

Paid 15 min daily tea break

Fulltime - 40 hours per week. Rotating shifts: 2 weeks Days & 2 weeks Afternoon Shift.

Day shift hours: 6.00am to 4.30pm / Afternoon shift hours: 4.25pm to 2.55am
