Executive Producer/ Head of Events and Exhibitions Project Delivery

We’re looking for a talented Head of Project Delivery to build and lead the function responsible for delivering Expo Centric’s agency projects on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Sitting at the intersection of Account Management, Design, Production, logistics, and installation, you’ll create the structure, technical oversight, and commercial discipline needed to take approved concepts through to successful onsite delivery. You’ll balance creative ambition with technical feasibility, production capability, client expectations, quality, timelines, and commercial return.

What You’ll Do

• Build and lead a high-performing Project Delivery team, establishing clear responsibilities, performance expectations, and a culture of ownership, accountability, and proactive problem-solving.
• Own the end-to-end delivery framework for agency projects, from Account Management handover through technical development, production, logistics, installation, client handover, and project completion.
• Direct projects across Expo Centric’s production network in Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth, as well as external partners, selecting the right delivery pathway based on capability, capacity, location, timing, cost, margin, risk, and quality.
• Partner with Account Management, 3D Design, and Production Design to ensure projects are buildable, commercially viable, properly documented, and supported by clear budgets, timelines, technical reviews, and risk controls.
• Maintain strong commercial oversight of labour, production, supplier, freight, and installation costs; manage variations and scope changes; protect project margins; and review profitability after completion.
• Improve capacity planning, project scheduling, procurement, reporting, and delivery processes, using clear project gateways and post-project reviews to reduce errors, onsite issues, cost overruns, and last-minute escalations.

What You Bring

• Significant experience delivering complex exhibitions, events, brand environments, temporary structures, or comparable projects.
• Strong technical knowledge of custom fabrication, modular exhibition systems, construction, logistics, installation, and related disciplines, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and production documentation.
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple complex projects, internal production facilities, outsourced suppliers, project budgets, and gross margins.
• Strong commercial judgement, negotiation skills, and the confidence to challenge designs, timelines, costs, and production decisions when required.
• Proven leadership and team-building capability, with experience developing technical and commercial skills in project delivery teams.
• Excellent planning, problem-solving, and communication skills, along with the ability to remain calm and make difficult decisions under pressure.
