You will play a critical role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, ensuring each job is completed with attention to detail and efficiency. Your expertise will directly contribute to customer satisfaction and the business's overall reputation. Key Responsibilities Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults across a variety of vehicle makes and models Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs in line with manufacturer specifications Conduct engine, transmission, brake, and suspension repairs

Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues accurately Inspect vehicles and provide clear, professional assessments of required work Maintain detailed service records and documentation Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient workflow Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment Skills and Experience Relevant trade qualification in Automotive Mechanics (Certificate III or equivalent) Proven experience as a motor mechanic in a workshop environment Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Experience with modern diagnostic equipment and systems Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Effective communication skills Valid driver’s licence Desirable Attributes Experience with European vehicles (BMW, Audi, Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz) Air conditioning (A/C) certification Hybrid and electric vehicle experience (advantageous) Roadworthy inspection certification (where applicable) Work Environment and Expectations Fast-paced workshop with a strong focus on quality and efficiency Exposure to a wide range of vehicle types, including premium brands Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying abreast of evolving automotive technologies Adherence to workplace health and safety standards at all times What We Offer Competitive salary aligned with experience and skill level Supportive and experienced team environment Ongoing training and development opportunities Stable, long-term employment with growth potential Consistent workflow and strong local reputation     About Company Reliable Automotive Services is a well-established automotive workshop with a strong reputation for quality, fairness, and technical expertise.
