Beauty Advisors – Guerlain

Cosmax Prestige Brands are Australia’s leading independent importer and distributor of prestige fragrances, skincare, and cosmetics. Over the past three decades Cosmax has built an international reputation for growing successful fragrance and cosmetic brands and products throughout the Australian domestic retail markets. Our brands include Guerlain, Cle de Peau Beaute, Bvlgari, Coach, Issey Miyake, Jimmy Choo, Kenzo, Lacoste, Montblanc, Nuxe, Narciso Rodriguez and many more.

We are currently assisting David Jones in recruiting new beauty advisors to work in permanent part-time roles at Burwood, Bondi and the Sydney CBD.

You do need to be available to work across all store trading hours for these roles which range from 20-30 hours per week.

The Roles:

These amazing opportunities will see you bring Guerlain’s vision of skincare and services to your discerning customers.  You will be a brand ambassador for a company that has pursued an infinite quest for wonder of senses and crafting artistic beauty from Nature, since 1828.

You will combine your expertise in luxury beauty, professional facial treatments and consultation-based selling to create personalised experiences that build long-term client relationships and drive commercial results.

As a beauty advisor, you will be the authority in all things skin care. Your day will include:

• Perform luxurious facial treatments according to the brand’s protocols,
• Provide consultation and on-counter services to your customers in relation to Guerlain’s range of makeup, skincare and fragrance,
• Conduct personalised skincare consultations and skin assessments, identifying individual customer needs and recommending tailored Guerlain routines and treatments.
• Build meaningful and long-lasting client relationships designed to retain customers and entice them back again and again,
• Develop and maintain a loyal client portfolio through appointments, personalised follow-up, clienteling and event opportunities.
• Maintain all customer registration details,
• Achieve retail sales and annual productivity goals and targets,
• Demonstrate strong commercial awareness, including the ability to achieve sales targets, build average transaction value and maximise every client interaction.
• Maintain the counter and consultation areas to the highest standards, and
• Act as a brand ambassador, demonstrating the Guerlain values across Beauty, Fragrance and Skincare.

About You:

• You absolutely must have previous experience in performing facial treatments,
• You must have a passion for the Guerlain range and be able to demonstrate your beauty knowledge to your customers
• Previous professional experience performing facial treatments is essential, with a Beauty Therapy qualification highly desirable.
• You are outcome focused and ideally have previous experience within the department environment
• You have strong knowledge and confidence across skincare, makeup and fragrance, with the ability to create personalised beauty recommendations.
• You are confident transitioning from a facial treatment or consultation into tailored home-care and product recommendations.
• You are confident building genuine, long-term client relationships and developing a loyal client portfolio.
• You must be available to work across all store trading hours including weekends, late nights and public holidays
