Shred-X Australia, part of the Freightways Ltd group, is a fast-paced, rapidly expanding leader in secure destruction and recycling solutions. We are seeking a motivated and safety-focused Day Shift Factory Sorter to join our Wetherill Park branch to contribute to the smooth operation of our recycling facility.

What You’ll Do

• Sort material for destruction on conveyor belts and tables
• Operate shredding and baling equipment according to safety and quality standards
• Accurately record information for inbound and outbound loads
• Perform pre-start checks on machinery and equipment
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the facility and equipment
• Assist with loading, unloading, and moving pallets, bins, and containers
• Ensure loads are secure and meet quality requirements
• Report any non-compliance or equipment issues to supervisors

What You Bring

• Forklift licence preferred but not essential
• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks safely and efficiently
• Positive, proactive attitude and team-player mindset
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and follow safety procedures
