Technician

Essendon Ford is seeking an experienced and motivated Automotive Technician to join our high-performing service team.

About the Role

As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance in accordance with manufacturer standards.
Key responsibilities include:

• Performing vehicle servicing and repairs efficiently and accurately
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
• Conducting warranty and customer-pay repairs
• Completing repair orders and workshop documentation accurately
• Carrying out vehicle inspections and reporting additional work required
• Working collaboratively with Service Advisors and fellow technicians
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
• Ensuring all work is completed to Ford manufacturer standards

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

• Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent qualification
• Previous experience as an Automotive Technician
• Diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced workshop environment
• A positive attitude and strong team focus
• Current manual driver's licence preferred
• Ford experience highly regarded but not essential
