About the role

4CELL TYRE & MECHANICAL is seeking a Qualified Motor Mechanic to join our growing team in North St Marys, NSW. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work with a reputable automotive business that values quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining and repairing a diverse range of vehicles, utilising your technical expertise and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced workshop environment. This role is integral to our operations, ensuring that every vehicle leaving our workshop meets our high standards of quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, filter replacements, brake inspections

• Conduct repairs on mechanical and electrical components

• Inspect vehicles thoroughly and provide detailed reports on required repairs and maintenance

• Adhere to all workplace health and safety regulations and procedures within the workshop

• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs

What we're looking for

• Current trade qualification or certification as a Motor Mechanic (AQF Level 3 or equivalent)

• Proven experience working as a qualified mechanic in a busy workshop environment

• Sound knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems

• Reliability and a strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Current driver's licence
