Warehouse Associate / Fill-In Driver

About the role

As a Warehouse Associate / Fill-In Driver at ARA Safety & ID Supplies, you will play a vital role in our thriving logistics operations. This full-time casual position, based at our Clayton, VIC 3168 facility, will see you contributing to the smooth and efficient management of warehouse activities, including receiving, picking, packing, stock handling, and, when required, providing delivery support as a fill-in driver.

Key responsibilities

• Receiving, unpacking and inspecting incoming goods and materials

• Accurately picking, packing and dispatching orders to customers

• Maintaining stock levels and conducting regular inventory checks

• Ensuring the warehouse is kept clean, tidy and compliant with health and safety regulations

• Operate company vehicles safely and professionally, adhering to all relevant traffic regulations and company driving policies

• Collect and deliver products to customers in a timely and courteous manner, ensuring customer satisfaction

• Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues or damage

• Support the wider team to ensure smooth daily operations and meet performance targets

About you

• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution role, preferably in the Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics industry

• A valid driver's license and proven driving experience with a clean driving record

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

• Reliability and punctuality with a commitment to workplace health and safety practices

• Computer literacy and familiarity with warehouse management systems (preferred)

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure

• Good problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
