About the role
Apply your data science skills to help leaders solve Australia’s most complex strategic challenges and navigate transformational change.
This role offers the opportunity to work across diverse sectors and challenges while developing both technical depth and consulting judgement within one of Australia's leading consulting firms. You will work alongside consultants, economists, policy specialists and technical experts to help Australia’s most significant organisations make better decisions through evidence.
As a Data Scientist, you will work with complex datasets, apply rigorous quantitative methods, build reproducible analytical products, and translate technical findings into practical insights that influence policy, strategy and investment decisions.
You’ll contribute to complex evaluations, major reviews, funding and pricing frameworks, service system reform, workforce planning, forecasting, econometric analysis, and organisational performance improvement. Our work spans Federal and State Government agencies, regulators, not-for-profits and private sector organisations.
You will need to be comfortable translating complex data findings into actionable insights for non-quantitative teams, while building trusted relationships with clients to help them clearly understand the value of your work.
You’ll have the opportunity to deepen your expertise in areas such as statistical modelling, data visualisation, causal inference, geospatial analysis, interactive reporting, agentic coding, and explore economic and financial modelling.
