About the role
Better begins here
Crown Resorts is a great place to visit and it’s an even better place to work, a place where you can play your part in creating fun, memorable, world-class experiences for our guests and our people. We value passion, optimism, and an appetite for change - for the better. Here, you’ll be part of the team, empowered to explore more, experience more and supported by your leader to grow and develop.
As Senior Design Manager, Interiors, you will play a critical leadership role in shaping and safeguarding Crown’s interior design excellence across major developments, refurbishments and minor works. Reporting to the Group Executive General Manager, you will lead aesthetic outcomes from concept through to delivery, ensuring all projects meet Crown’s exacting standards for design quality, craftsmanship, materials and presentation.
This is a highly influential role requiring deep technical expertise, strong stakeholder engagement and the ability to balance creativity with commercial and operational outcomes across Crown’s portfolio.
What You’ll Do
Lead and deliver interior design outcomes for projects and provide senior design review and critique across all major developments and refurbishments
Own the aesthetic integrity of projects from concept through to completion, ensuring alignment with Crown standards, brand and guest experience
Review and approve interior documentation, samples, prototypes and shop drawings to ensure quality, functionality and constructability
Specify, approve and critique FF&E and bespoke elements, balancing design excellence with budget, operational and durability requirements
Partner with Project Managers to manage design scope, cost control and on‑time delivery across complex project environments
QA completed works and oversee presentation and handover to ensure a fully resolved, world‑class outcome
What You’ll Bring
10+ years’ experience delivering large‑scale, high‑end interior projects, ideally within hospitality, entertainment or premium environments
Tertiary qualifications in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or a related discipline
Advanced knowledge of materials, finishes, FF&E and bespoke fabrication, with strong specification and compliance awareness
Proven ability to lead design reviews, resolve complexity and identify aesthetic or technical risks early
Confident, influential communicator able to engage senior stakeholders, consultants, builders and suppliers
A refined design eye with strong commercial judgement and the ability to perform in a fast‑paced, delivery‑focused environment
On top of exciting career possibilities, we offer better exposure to experiences and learning. To see our range of benefits and opportunities visit Crown Resorts Careers.
Our Crown Community celebrates uniqueness and embraces diversity. We welcome the creativity, insights and experiences from people of different race, age, religion, cultural background, gender, people with disability, people who identify as LGBTIQ+ and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander; people like you.
