WORKSHOP PROCUREMENT

About the role

Transport Spares & Equipment Pty Ltd is seeking a Workshop Procurement person to join our team in Welshpool, WA. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of our busy Workshop . This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in Spare Parts supply and Workshop coordination, who can keep processes running smoothly from Job initiation to completion This hands-on role is essential to the day-to-day functioning of our business and directly contributes to delivering excellent service to our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Enter timecards accurately on a daily basis

• Manage job card control from opening through to closing

• Allocate Spare Parts and Steel to Jobs

• Order Spare parts and Steel for Workshop Jobs as required

• Issue Spare Parts to Workshop Tradespeople

• Prepare and write clear scope of work on job cards

• Order and maintain control of Workshop Consumables

• Maintain accurate records of inventory

• Respond promptly to requests from supervisors and team members

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working in a workshop, or similar logistics environment

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

• Reliable and punctual with a positive, proactive attitude

• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with a team

• Valid driver's licence (preferred)

• Forklift licence (preferred)

• Basic literacy and numeracy skills
