The Opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced Breakfast Chef to join our talented kitchen team at Hellenika.

This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a chef who loves breakfast service and is looking for consistent daytime hours with no late nights.

You’ll work 5 days per week, from 5:00am to 1:00pm, giving you the consistency of a regular roster while working in a fast-paced, premium restaurant environment.

Your Role

As Breakfast Chef, you’ll be an important part of our morning kitchen team, working with quality ingredients and fresh produce to deliver the exceptional food Hellenika is known for.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and cooking breakfast dishes to Hellenika’s high standards

• Delivering consistent quality, presentation and flavour across every service

• Completing daily mise en place and preparation

• Confidently managing your section during busy breakfast services

• Maintaining exceptional food safety, hygiene and kitchen standards

• Ensuring your section is organised, stocked and service-ready

• Minimising waste and assisting with stock management

• Working collaboratively with the wider kitchen and front-of-house teams

About You

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

• Previous experience as a Breakfast Chef, Chef de Partie or experienced Demi Chef.

• Strong breakfast and à la carte cooking experience

• Confidence working in a busy, high-quality kitchen

• A genuine passion for fresh produce and great food

• Strong attention to detail and pride in presentation

• Excellent organisation and time-management skills

• A positive attitude and team-focused approach

• Reliability and availability to work 5:00am–1:00pm, five days per week

• Full working rights in Australia
