About the role
The South West Aboriginal Medical Service (SWAMS) is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service based in Bunbury which provides a variety of health services to Aboriginal people in the South West, Great South, Upper wheatbelt and Peel Regions of Western Australia. SWAMS delivers a wide range of Services including: GP Clinics, Primary Health Care, Counselling, NDIS and community host various programs. SWAMS has a strong growth strategy through partnership opportunities and future community development.
About the role
The primary purpose of the Physiotherapist role within SWAMS is to work within a multidisciplinary team providing assessments and coordination of physiotherapy programs including their ongoing evaluation, to improve or maintain levels of physical function for SWAMS clients, particularly those engaged with our Community Services, such as our aged care programs.
About you
This role will suit someone who is passionate about improving health and wellbeing outcomes for Aboriginal communities. You will have experience within a leadership position and enjoy working daily within a team. This will be a part-time position and the successful candidate will bring the following experience and qualifications:
