About the Role

The security team in these locations play an important role in ensuring that the clients data integrity is always maintained. As the first point of contact visitors and contractors entering the facility, the Security team at these locations need to leave a lasting impression of exceptional customer service.

We have casual -Night Shift Positions available is located in Hume - Canberra

The Security Shift Supervisor will be responsible for the following duties:

Manage the Security Team on day to day operational requirementsConduct security screening of all personnel entering and exiting a restricted areaEnsure compliance with all Security Procedures & Policies Identify prohibited items and prevent them from being introduced to or removed from a restricted areaEscalate and report on incidentsPatrol assigned areas and escalate issues

Skills and Experience:

Must have current AGSVA NV-1 clearance and current State Based Security LicenceExcellent communication skillsCustomer service experience is essentialConflict resolution and negation skills requiredMust be punctual and responsibleStrong multi-tasking abilitiesExceptional customer service standardsBasic to Intermediate PC skills (MS Suite)Compliance of all relevant company policies and proceduresProtection of premises occupants, protection of real and personal propertyReport writing and Site patrol dutiesGreet visitors and employees and assist as requiredExcellent observational skillsExperience communicating via two-way radioLead by example – support a safety and compliance culture
