We’re looking for a qualified Veterinary Nurse who is compassionate, confident and enjoys providing high-quality patient care while working as part of a supportive team.About the roleThis is a varied and rewarding role within a busy, professional veterinary practice. You’ll work closely with our veterinarians and nursing team to provide excellent care to our patients and their families.Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:Providing high-quality nursing and inpatient careSurgical preparation and anaesthetic monitoringAssisting veterinarians with consultations, procedures and treatmentsAdministering medications and treatmentsPathology, IV catheter placement and fluid therapyDental and general nursing dutiesPatient monitoring and recoveryClient communication, education and dischargeMaintaining accurate patient records and high standards of hygieneWe’re looking for someone who takes pride in their nursing skills, is comfortable working in a busy environment and genuinely cares about the wellbeing of both patients and clients.About youYou will ideally be:Certificate IV qualified in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent)Experienced and confident in clinical nursing and anaesthesiaCompassionate, reliable and professionalA strong communicator and team playerOrganised, proactive and able to work independentlyPassionate about patient care and continued professional developmentWhat we offerAt Albany Creek Veterinary Surgery, we value our people as much as our patients.
