About the role
The core mission of Anglicare (NSW South, West & ACT) is to break the cycle of intergenerational poverty for children, young people and families. We have a particular focus on serving vulnerable communities in the ACT and regional, rural NSW.
As a Case Manager in our Family Services program Goulburn, you'll be crucial in delivering client-focused and outcome-based services through case management and our supported playgroup.
Your primary responsibility is to work collaboratively with clients experiencing complex issues accessing the services, aiming to reduce risks and create positive change with families. You will be supporting families to meet their needs, with a focus on cultural inclusivity and trauma-informed care to improve the lives of vulnerable children.
What's needed?
Relevant qualifications in the Human Services field (Diploma of Community Services or equivalent; Degree qualifications preferred).
Practical experience in working with vulnerable families and an ability to identify children and young people at risk.
Experience working with children and young people.
Available to work Thursdays
Demonstrated expertise in client-centred case management.
Knowledge of the Community Services sector, trauma and its impacts, crisis impacts on families, child protection issues, and legislation.
Australian drivers licence
The salary range for this position is $46.70 to $50.25 per hour, plus 10.5% employer superannuation guarantee.
