Job Description:We are looking for DB2 Systems Programmer, who will be part of a Global team responsible for building, configuring and maintaining the Bank’s mainframe systems. Currently we are running the largest parallel SysPlex in the Nordic region. Our primary design goals are service availability, efficiency and resilience, underpinned by the architectural principle of cloned infrastructure, system configurations and applications. Participate in all recovery coordination activitiesCreate & modify WLM address spaces for stored procedures as neededDatabase security managementBackup/Recovery strategiesStrategy ReviewsScalability AnalysisDatabase Architecture design strategyPlanning Database maintenance windowCapacity planning Monitor and troubleshoot DB2 address spaces for any potential issuesDB2 Database configuration across difference Mainframe LPARs.Prepare and execute housekeeping strategies for the DB2 Catalog and Directory. Implement security strategy for DB2 via RACF. Troubleshoot Level 3 DB2 Database issues.Provide Level 3 support to troubleshoot/resolve system level and application problems with DB2 Database technologies and associated Third Party products – coordinate escalation/intervention with vendor as necessary.Strong experience of installing, customizing and maintaining Mainframe DB2 and ISV products Strong experience managing Q-replication and IBM DB2 Data Analytics accelerator product suite Strong experience working with large data sharing SysPlex environment Hands-on experience of managing system operations, problem diagnosis, performance tuning in both system and application arenaGood experience with IBM DB2 Utilities, Disaster recovery and system restorationInstall, upgrade and administer mainframe DB2 and DB2 related tools software. Assist with testing, implementation and installation of new or improved systems, as well as product upgrades.Good knowledge on DB2 migrations and upgrades for DB2 V12.1 and V13.1 versions. Good Knowledge on Problem diagnosis related to DB2 and their DB2 tools products. Strong DB2 system programming skill, DB2 recovery, maintain system objects and ZPARM parameter configuration.Good knowledge of DB2 tools installation and upgrades for IBM utilities, Broadcom products. Experience in SMPE knowledge of RSU maintenance apply procedures.Experience in JCL, ISPF, DB2 related products, WLM and stored procedures Knowledge of performance monitoring and troubleshooting DB2 issues.Strong skill set must be needed on DB2 data sharing experience and failover process.Good knowledge of Disaster recovery of DB2 systems includes traditional DR and flash copy DR.Interact with ticketing tool remedy, service center and other business support areas for problem escalations, resolutions, reporting and coordination. Attend meetings and interact regularly with management, team and clients to continuously improve services. Provide 24*7 support if needed on the project support.

Detailed Job Description:
Should have experience in Mainframe CICS and MQ environment for 10+ years.Support the operations of the Mainframe CICS infrastructure(CICS & MQ series).Well versed with CICS resource definitions online(terminals, programs, bundles etc.), defining new CICS regions etc.Experience in upgrade of CICS TS from lower version to higher version.Knowledge on CICS Transaction Gateway and CICS webservices and CICSplex OperationsExperience in vendor product install / upgrade and applying PTF for maintenanceCICS SSL Setup TroubleshootingExperience in CICS Monitoring Tools - CA SYSVIEW / Omegamon / Mainview etc.Well versed with CICSPLEX Setup (CMAS), MRO region Setup and troubleshoot related issues.Experience and strong knowledge as a Websphere MQSeries on z/OS v7.1 / v9.0 Install new releases, apply PTFs to Webshere MQ on z/OSWell versed with MQ Clustering and MQ Objects/Channels/QueuesExperience with upgrading IBM MQ for z/OS will be added advantage. z/OS connect zIOA installation and configuration
