What we are looking for:

Project Planning:

• Collaborate with project manager to understand project requirements, timelines, and budget.

• Develop a detailed construction schedule and plan, taking into account all aspects of the project.

Site Organization:

• Set up and organize the construction site, including the installation of necessary facilities and infrastructure.

• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and implement proper safety measures on the site.

Team Management:

• Supervise and manage on-site construction teams, including subcontractors and labourers.

• Assign tasks, provide direction, and ensure that work is carried out efficiently and according to quality standards.

Resource Management:

• Coordinate the allocation of resources, including labour, equipment, and materials.

• Monitor and manage the inventory of materials and equipment needed for construction activities.

Quality Control:

• Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure that work meets specified standards and regulations.

• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address any quality issues.

Communication:

• Act as a liaison between different project stakeholders, including directors, project managers, architects, engineers, clients, and subcontractors.

• Provide regular project updates to relevant parties and address any concerns or issues that arise during construction.

Problem Solving:

• Identify and resolve challenges or obstacles that may arise during the construction process.

• Make decisions to keep the project on track and within budget while maintaining quality standards.

Adherence to Regulations:

• Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and other relevant construction standards.

• Work with regulatory authorities to secure necessary approvals and inspections.

Experience and Skills:

• Builder license and building practitioner license in NSW

• Minimum 7 years experience in Class 1, Class 2 and Class 7 b building construction

• Familiar with Procore management system

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
