Vehicle Accessory Fitters

At Autocare Services, we’ve been moving Australia’s new vehicles for over 50 years. As one of the nation’s leading vehicle logistics providers, we handle the processing, storage, and transport of more than 400,000 vehicles every year across seven major sites.

Our success is built on safety, teamwork, and delivering exceptional service to our clients – and now, we’re looking for practical, hands-on people who enjoy working with tools and vehicles to join us.
  
The Role
Based at our Altona facility, you’ll be part of a close-knit team focused on fitting accessories to new vehicles and getting them ready for delivery.
A typical day will include:

• Using power tools (such as drills, impact drivers and basic hand tools) to fit accessories to new vehicles.
• Fitting vehicle accessories such as decals, trims, covers and other add-ons in line with customer and manufacturer requirements.
• Safely collecting vehicles from designated areas and moving them to work bays for accessory installation.
• Inspecting vehicles before and after work and recording any damage or issues.
• Parking and manoeuvring vehicles in storage areas with care and precision.
• Refuelling and cleaning vehicles to a high standard to ensure they’re ready for handover.

You’ll be working in a fast-paced, workshop-style environment where attention to detail and safe use of tools is critical.
  
What You’ll Bring
No industry experience? No problem – we’ll train you on the job, including the safe and correct use of power tools and vehicle accessory fitting.
All you need is:

• A valid manual driver’s licence.
• Confidence and willingness to use power tools and hand tools (or a genuine interest to learn).
• A strong safety focus and eye for detail when working on vehicles.
• A team-player attitude and willingness to follow processes and instructions.
• Availability Monday to Friday from 6:00am – 2:30pm.
