Are you looking for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity? Ayers Rock Resort is searching for a Waste Services Team Leader to live and work onsite at Yulara, NT which is 20 min drive from Uluru, one of Australia's most iconic and culturally significant landmarks.

We are seeking an experienced truck driver to lead our Waste Services Team. This role will see you lead the day-to-day operations of our Waste Services team while ensuring Waste Management Services are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with agreed works programs, schedules, environmental requirements and company standards.

This role requires an HR Truck License and valid plant licenses or competencies for excavator, backhoe and dozer or ability to obtain one.

Key Duties

• Lead and support the Waste Services team to deliver daily operational requirements safely and efficiently.
• Supervise the team on shift, providing clear direction, monitoring performance and maintaining high work standards.
• Operate a rear lift waste collection vehicle, excavator and dozer to manage landfill, transfer station and waste disposal activities.
• Ensure plant, equipment and work areas are maintained, monitored and cleaned in accordance with operational requirements.
• Support the onboarding, training and development of team members.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all WHS policies, procedures and safe work practices.
• Provide advice and information to service users regarding waste services and respond to general enquiries.
