Fiona Stanley Hospital is seeking a dedicated Consultant Neurologist with specialised expertise in epilepsy management and EEG reporting to join our team.
This is a permanent, sessional appointment at 0.6 FTE (12 sessions per fortnight).

Position Profile and Role
In this role you will lead the multidisciplinary team to provide specialist Neurology services to patients. You will promotes patient safety and quality of care. You will provide leadership, orientation, training, supervision and education, where relevant, for doctors in training, Health Service Medical Practitioners and other health workers. In collaboration with the Head of Department and other Consultants works to achieve national, state and SMHS performance standards and targets. You will also work within the scope of clinical practice as defined and recommended by the SMHS Area Medical Credentialing Committee.

Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH) is an 863-bed tertiary and quaternary hospital providing a broad range of specialised healthcare services. These include the State Rehabilitation Service, a comprehensive cancer centre, dedicated mental health facilities, maternity, paediatric and neonatal care, as well as the State Adult Burns Service. FSH also delivers highly specialised treatments such as heart and lung transplantation and hyperbaric medicine.
