Girton Grammar School in Bendigo is seeking a Student Support Officers to join our Inclusive Education team. In this role, you will provide proactive and responsive support to students across the Junior and Senior campuses, working closely with teaching staff, wellbeing teams, and families. You will deliver tailored academic assistance in one-on-one, small group, and classroom settings, help students overcome learning challenges, and maintain accurate records of support sessions. The position also involves fostering positive relationships, upholding confidentiality and child safety standards, and contributing to a supportive and inclusive school environment.

You will have:

• Experience working with students in an educational setting, preferably in a support capacity
• Understanding of learning difficulties and strategies to support diverse learners
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong organisational and analytical skills
• High-level ICT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management
• Adaptability and a commitment to student wellbeing and child safety
• Certificate III or IV in Education Support (highly desirable)
• Monday - Friday Availability 8:30am - 3:30 pm
