Work Hours are 6:30AM to 3:36PM Monday to Friday (with an RDO every 5 weeks)

This position will be based at our White Rock Campus with some travel to Kewarra Beach Campus required.

About The Role

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

Creating vibrant outdoor spaces that promote a sense of calm, inspiration and community prideMaintaining the upkeep and improvement of school’s grounds, gardens and lawns, contributing to a safe, welcoming and engaging environment for students and staffContributing to ongoing grounds enhancements and the preparation and care of sporting facilities

You’ll work with a fun and collaborative team that values initiative, attention to detail, and a great sense of humour and learn a lot from your teammates in the process.

About You

To be successful in this role you are:

A skilled, experienced and enthusiastic gardenerExperienced in working in the outdoor environmentKnowledgeable and experienced in horticulture, pest management and plant care (or strong interest to learn)Skilled in using horticultural machinery, hand and power toolsThe sort of team player who will put their hand up to contribute, regardless of the task to be doneA strong communicator and collaborative team member
