Part-time Customer Advisor – The Pines Branch 

• Location: The Pines Branch, with occasional support at Kingscliff Branch as needed 
• Employment: Permanent, part-time position 
• Hours: Part-time hours, with working pattern to be discussed 
• Remuneration: $32.50 per hour, plus leave loading and superannuation 

Regional Australia Bank and Summerland Bank have recently come together, bringing two customer-owned banks with strong regional and community connections into one organisation. At The Pines, where many customers know and value the Summerland name, this role is about continuing that local, relationship-based service while being part of the broader Regional Australia Bank team. 

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, building relationships and being part of a supportive branch team. 

The position will suit someone seeking regular part-time work, with the final pattern of hours discussed as part of the recruitment process. We’re open to considering different part-time arrangements and ask applicants to let us know their preferred days and hours when applying. Some flexibility in availability will be important to help us meet branch and customer needs, including occasional support at our Kingscliff Branch when required. 

The Opportunity 

As a Customer Advisor, you’ll be one of the first points of contact for our customers, providing friendly, accurate and professional service across a range of everyday banking needs. 

You’ll support customers with transactions, account enquiries, account opening and digital banking, while helping identify products, services or referrals that may support their broader financial goals. 

What You’ll Bring 

You don’t need previous banking experience, but you will bring: 

• A genuine customer service focus and a warm, professional approach. 
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships. 
• Good attention to detail and confidence following procedures. 
• Integrity, reliability and respect for confidential information. 
• A willingness to learn new systems, products and processes. 
• Transferable experience from customer service, retail, administration, hospitality, volunteering or similar environments.
