Sales Trainee - GYMPIE

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Trainee to join our team at Budget Steel in GYMPIE, Queensland. This is a full-time position that will provide you with hands-on experience and training in various administrative and sales-related tasks, helping you develop a broad skillset. The role is based in our Gympie office, with opportunities for continued professional development and growth within the company.

What you'll be doing

• Providing excellent sales support to customers, including data entry, invoicing, order processing, and general office duties

• Assisting with inbound and outbound customer calls, responding to queries, and providing exceptional customer service

• Participating in the sales process, including generating quotes, following up on leads, and helping to build and maintain strong customer relationships

• Supporting the implementation of sales and marketing initiatives, such as organising events and managing customer databases

• Continuously learning and developing your skills to contribute to the ongoing success of the business

What we're looking for

• A positive, enthusiastic, and customer-focused attitude

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with both internal and external stakeholders

• Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure

• A keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and data

• Willingness to learn and a passion for developing your skills

• Some previous experience in an administrative or customer service role would be highly regarded, but not essential
